Dear CSATVB members,
It's my pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2022 Canadian Lipid and Vascular Summit Stewart Whitman New Investigator Award is Dr. Ying Wang at the University of British Columbia, for her study entitled "Characterizing local inflammation targeted by colchicine in patients with coronary artery disease".
Congratulations to Dr. Wang!
There were several excellent applications for the award that created a difficult decision process for the judges, however Ying's application was overall rated highest. We thank all those who applied and the reviewers for judging the applications.
